Hi, welcome to K+H!

I am Lauren Tatum, a photographer serving the Mobile Bay Area. So where did the name Kate + Hayes come from? Those are the middle names of my two children, Lennon and Callen.

With K+H, you will find simplicity, enjoyment, natural beauty, and images that will bring joy for years to come. My goal is to capture the current moment. The personalities, the details, and the joy of each unique and perfect moment.

How did this start? Well, I have been a special education teacher for 10 years, and have owned a dance studio in the North Baldwin area for 4 years (busy, right!?) When my daughter was born 4 years ago, I purchased my first camera and have slowly and passionately learned about photography since then. Fast forward to now, and I want to offer my services to you. I miss my students, but I love getting to work with kids through photography!
